Bio

Jeassea is from Richmond B.C. Canada with a cultural background of Filipino and French Canadian. 

On her Filipino side she was influenced by her aunt who was a crooner singer and frequently entertained the family with karaoke.  Pop hits of the late 80s and all the 90s were another influence growing up.

Jeassea joined her first band in high school and literally hasn't stopped. She quickly had an opportunity to travel abroad singing in the hotel circuits in Asia. This led her to join the very first Singapore Idol in 2003, where she made the final top 10.  From this life altering point, Jeassea expanded through acting, hosting for T.V. shows, junkets, judging for other competitions while continuously singing for corporate shows. After a 7 year stint in Singapore, Jeassea decided to continue her travels through South America to play with another band, eventually making her way back to Canada in 2009 to re-invent a new way of being. She joined a new band and expanded her skill set.

At the present moment, Jeassea is turning a new leaf with music, collaborating with her friend and producer Chris Russell on a more personal project.  This music revolves around her love for Astrology, healing and sensuality.  Every song has a healing intention for healing the sacral chakra of creativity and sensuality.  Secondly, the theme of every song is crafted with how Venus would express its desires in every zodiac sign. This will be a 12 song project. And lastly, the music is inspired from world sounds, very fitting as her travels have deepened her learning and appreciation for music and instruments around the world.
